How
is Blu-ray Disc made?
The flow diagram below shows BD (Blu-ray disc)
manufacturing journey from mastering through to shipping of
your finished product. The blue 'Mastering section' is where
a male master is made from your supplied female master. This
is then passed to the 'Pressing section' where the male
master is loaded into the molding machine. Once the discs
have been made they move to the purple 'Printing section',
here they are Screen or Litho printed and checked against
the ID code. The final orange 'Packaging section' takes care
of any product packaging and shipping of your finished
project.

Inspection stages
At each stage your discs are inspected both by our staff
and the cameras installed within the production line. This
ensures each and every disc meets our strict quality
standard, from a spec of dust, through to any machine damage
that could have occurred.
